I am a student of the key topics of nonfatal strangulation and IPV (intimate partner violence) Concussions. I am not an expert, but I know who the authorities and experts are on these topics. Also, regarding nonfatal strangulation, the Training Institute on Strangulation Prevention (Gael Strack, ESQ., is the founder and CEO). Dr. James Frizzell has been providing quality family dental care to patients in the Niagara region for 20 years. Dr. James is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a BSc (Chemistry) and a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). He served 8 years in the Canadian Forces Dental Corps, at Cold Lake Air Force Base in Alberta. 

Dr  James graduated from a one year course,  McGill University, Dental Forensics Program; part on-campus  training with the Surete du Quebec Forensics Team. Dr James is focusing on Child Abuse, Elderly Abuse, Human Trafficking, and Intimate Partner Violence. He also gives educational PowerPoint presentations on these topics.  Also, trained at University of Tennessee, Body Farm, and Clandestine Grave Recovery. Dr Frizzell’s motto is: “The Power of Observation”, which he lives by, both in the forensic’s world, and in the field of general dentistry, with attention to detail.

Dr. James is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. He is also an active member of the ASFO (American Society of Forensic Odontology).

He enjoys vacationing with family and friends, and fishing locally in the upper and lower Niagara River for bass and musky.
